Massage Therapy (RMT)
New Client Initial Visit
When coming in for the first time, it is important for us to go over your previous medical history, what your main concern is, and the treatment plan that is catered to your needs. This appointment dedicates the first 15 minutes of your appointment towards the thorough intake, assessment, and discussing your treatment plan. The remainder of the time is time spent on the table, and discussing/demonstrating any home-care to maintain your health goals between appointments.
Subsequent visit
Massage Therapy
Your massage will be targeted towards your needs and your previously agreed upon treatment plan to create a safe and effective massage for you. With the choice of music and essential oils or lack thereof, enjoy your [choice of duration] massage. This massage is available once you have completed an initial assessment appointment. A brief assessment is always conducted before or during your massage to check for improvements. Remedial exercises and home care may be provided to maintain your health goals between appointments.
Prenatal Massage & Postpartum Massage
There are many changes over the entire gestation, including physiological, emotional, and psychological changes. Massage Therapy can assist with these changes and is safe to perform. A thorough health history and assessment will determine whether this massage type is safe and effective for you. Promote a healthy pregnancy with a massage that may reduce muscular tension, correct muscle imbalances, and increase body awareness, and joint flexibility.
Postpartum massage will aid in physical changes that linger after birthing, any post-surgical recovery, as well as changes in emotions.
TRAINED THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES:
I am certified in basic cupping techniques as well as prenatal & postnatal k-taping. Please note there will be an added charge of $10 +hst for adding on a k-taping service. Please contact me for more information about these additions to your treatment plan!
Corporate & Event Massage
Treat your employees to a 15 minute chair massage in addition to your pizza party! We offer office visits to businesses for an hourly rate of $130 with a minimum of 2 hour purchase. If you have a smaller office or not many employees, I also offer 30 minute chair or table sessions per employee for $75 an employee. You may also hire us for your next event with the same rates! HST is added onto all totals during invoicing.
